The iRiver T10 will play continuously for an astounding 45 hours. This makes it a good player for students, those who like to travel and anyone with an active lifestyle. A disadvantage of the T10, especially for those who time their workouts, is it doesn't have stopwatch features.
Though it doesn't include a stopwatch, the iRiver has a number of other features that make it one of the top sport mp3 players on the market. You can tune in to FM radio and even record your favorite songs or radio shows to listen to them later.
Other practical features include an integrated clock, calendar program and an external hard drive function. The mp3 player acts as an external hard drive, so you can download Word files, pictures, spreadsheets and other common files and take them with you. This is practical for school and in the office.
We would like to see a stopwatch—unfortunately, the iRiver T10 doesn't have one.
The T10 has a super long-lasting battery life—you can listen to music up to 53 hours on a single AA battery.
Not only does iRiver's T10 fit perfectly in the palm of your hand, it is also attractive and comes in blue or red with metallic controls. The player is small in size, weighing only 1.7 ounces, but not so tiny that it's hard to handle.
The T10 has a built-in sport clip so it easily attaches to a backpack, armband or belt. Sport cases and armbands, sold separately through iRiver, will keep your player secure and out of the way during workouts.
The T10 supports four different formats: mp3, wma, ogg and asf. The average listener won't have to convert their music files, which is a big timesaver.
You can contact iRiver's support team by telephone or email with questions or concerns. Their website offers a FAQ page and documentation for common questions and general information.
The iRiver T10 player is first-rate for casual listeners and those who like music during exercise. The lightweight, clean design and skip-free playback make it a great choice for runners; however, you won't be able to time your runs—the T10 doesn't have a stopwatch.
